Nicole Okamura discovered she was pregnant shortly after becoming a Kaiser Permanente member.
Nicole appreciates the ease and convenience of being able to access Kaiser Permanente — including scheduling appointments, contacting her physician, ordering prescriptions and reviewing test results — online or on her smartphone. And when she does go in for an appointment, she likes that it is a one-stop shop.
“I like being able to check in, go see my doctor, have blood work done, pick up my medicine and go home,” she said. “It saves me a lot of time.”
When people ask about her maternity care experience at Kaiser Permanente, Nicole mentioned the personal touch: “The best way to describe it is that I felt pampered from beginning to end.”
And her visitors noticed, remarking that she didn’t look like she had just had a baby because she seemed well-rested.
“I feel like I belong to a team of people that has my best interest at heart in caring for me,” Nicole said. “It’s more like belonging to a family.”
